Let me start off by saying that in no way do I profess to be an expert on Nutrients. That being said, here is what I do know Nutrients can be the most complicated part of hydroponics. You can make things much easier if you get your self one of the tools shown on the left. A unit that measures pH, TDS and Temperature on a continuous basis is the best solution. Next best would be a hand held meter that does the same. Next would be a simple hand held pH and TDS meter. You can also keep it rather simple and just use pH test strips to monitor pH and just change out your solution on a schedule. You can still achieve great results this way, you’ll just use more nutrients.
